Kurt Linn: Author/ Financial Writer/ Publisher/ Consultant
Kurt Linn was born in Treasure Island Florida where he learned to swim before he learned to walk. After completing St. Andrews College, he won a Rockefeller Scholarship to Yale and then an Overseas Research Award to Kings College, London England. For eighteen years he has worked as an independent consultant bringing together people with personal finance needs and investment advisers and attorneys.
Many of Mr. Linn’s clients are featured in The Top 100 Wealth Advisers rated by Worth Magazine.
His first book, The Trouble with Mutual Funds has sold over 70,000 copies. The
2012 revised third edition is now available both in soft cover and on Kindle. He is currently working on his second book, Burn Them Down: Surviving the Collapse of American Housing. He tries hard to make it to the Gulf of Mexico everyday for a swim.
